The Scale Never Lies!

Alright so to get you all up to speed. Over the last eight months I’ve been slowly trying to get myself back in shape. Now I’m going to bring you and the world in on my progress! I added the new measurements I took today to the top of the list that follows. Also you can see all the measurements I’ve taken since begining this journey. You’ll notice when I was actively taking measurements once a week I struggled at times and my weight crept back up. If you’re trying to get yourself in shape just stick it out! If you don’t do what your supposed to for a day or two or even longer just pick yourself up and get bac on the horse! 

I pretty much have achieved all my weight loss just by running. No significant food changes and no weights. You’ll notice though I’ve been losing muscle in the process. I knew this going into it and had I been following a weight lifting plan as well, I would have burned more fat quicker, and retained and most likely gained muscle throughout this process.

With the new year I’ve decided to begin a weightlifting program in addition to my daily running. Additionally with the holidays being what they are I haven’t done much running for the last month and have crept back up to 203.7 where I am at today. The lowest I had previously got was down to 197.

My goal is to get to 185 pounds and around 15% body fat in the next few months. Really gonna have to bump up the intensity.

I’ll upload some photos of my progress soon. But so far since I started this journey I’m down a total of 32.3 pounds. And since I started keeping track of percentages and detailed pounds I’ve lost a total of 7.3 pounds of muscle, 17.2 pounds of fat. My body fat percentage is down  4.9% and I’m 4 pant sizes smaller than I was.
